Conference Theme: Honoring the Practitioner

When honoring we do so with receptivity of heart and mind; in celebration and gratitude. At least this is the attitude we feel when we honor others; those who inspire and touch us with their teachings, and simply by being in our lives...

But, of course, we all know that truly honoring another is only possible when we do so from a place of self-honoring; receptivity of heart towards our self, celebration of our self, celebration of our own life and being. And that is the rub isn't it; the thing we all find so very difficult to do, so counter-conditioning, so last-on-our-list of what is important and worthwhile.

Knowing that we are all in the same boat, doing our best to self-honor but falling short and forgetting so much of the time, this is our plan...

This year our Members Conference was dedicated to the practitioner, the teacher and the warts-and-all human being, who makes mistakes, has limitations, succeeds, inspires and goofs up. With all the work and study and energy we have put into getting this far it is, surely, time to turn all our focus on the one person our life has and always will depend on... our self. And, for sure, whenever self-honoring, receptivity of heart towards self and celebration of our own life happens we cannot but honor everyone who touches our life.
