IBA Australasia Office Staff

The Australasia office of the International BodyTalk Association (IBA) opened in January 2008 in Brisbane, Australia. The office serves as the prime business center for IBA membership and activity in Australia, New Zealand and neighboring Pacific Islands.

The IBA branch is staffed by Cass Eames and Christopher Veltheim, son of the IBA’s founder, Dr. John Veltheim. Both Cass and Chris left the U.S.-based IBA headquarters to establish the new facility.

Cass Eames

General Manager

Cass EamesCass formerly served as personal assistant for John Veltheim and also worked in IBA administration, particularly in the membership area. She continues to write the weekly member newsletter. Originally from Brisbane, she had traveled to the United States to work for the IBA and learn from its modalities.

Chris Veltheim

Secretary of Operations

Chris VeltheimAlso born and bred in Australia, Chris Veltheim worked as a volunteer at the headquarters office in Sarasota, Florida, while continuing his studies in business and marketing. In Brisbane, he will serve as Secretary of Operations for the Australasia office, while continuing to pursue his studies. Chris, who is a Certified Remedial Massage Therapist and Certified BodyTalk Practitioner, believes the aggregation of his activities will allow him to continually learn new tools for operating and promoting businesses, while gaining vital hands-on experience from day-to-day work situations.
